Modern villa by the sea with an antique teak wooden plank floor

For the modern house of architect Marc Speecke Corvelyn recovered teak floor boards from old houses in Indonesia. The wooden plank floor was glued and nailed to an 8 mm mosaic oak parquet sub-floor. The wooden plank floor matches the minimalist windows perfectly without touching them and is installed at the terrace level so there is no threshold when the windows are open. This wooden plank floor can be perfectly combined with floor heating.
