Modern loft with antique oak strip parquet floor

For this luxurious loft, an antique oak strip parquet floor from an old barracks in Mulhouse dating from 1875 was chosen in close collaboration with the interior designers De Poorter-Holdrinet.

The parquet floor obtained a magnificent patina thanks to the diligent polishing work of the soldiers. Some of the parquet strips still show a brand with the year and name of the local carpenter! The contrast between the antique parquet floor and the modern interior makes living in this loft particularly interesting.
