In close co-operation with the interior architects De Poorter Holdrinet, an antique Hungarian peak from a building on the Avenue George V in Paris dating from 1870 was chosen in this luxurious 300 m² triplex loft. Both parties were commissioned to design a timeless whole, which is alive even without furniture, art or residents.
The antique floor and staircase were seamlessly integrated into their new surroundings. The centuries-old parquets were given a new tongue and groove in order to guarantee a perfect fit.
Authentic steps were also sought. Together with the floor they give the loft a cosmopolitan character.
