Country estate - Frank Van Laere

Corvelyn supplied oak boards in a variety of widths up to 30cm for this country house, designed by architect Frank Van Laere for a family who love horses and dogs.

The planks were aged and, on the instructions of the architect, always positioned parallel to the shortest side of the room.

This is a floor that can withstand some damage: the family’s three large dogs, Rhodesian ridgebacks, have the run of the house.

This finish is user-friendly and easy to keep clean with natural soap.
