Gamekeeper's house

This renovated gamekeeper’s house is in the middle of a forest.

Corvelyn selected old oak planks (20cm wide), with two central boards, laid upon the underfloor heating.

Reclaimed wood is ideal for use with underfloor heating, as it no longer has a tendency to warp. All of the planks are dried in vacuum driers, so that there is absolutely no chance that they will warp after installation.

The aged finish removes any rustic feel from these planks and means that they fit in perfectly in the home of this lover of contemporary art.

Corvelyn have also developed products to prevent wooden floors from gaining a yellowish tinge.

The planks retain their natural character, as no layers of synthetic oil or varnish are applied.
